This office puts non-clinical help into private houses across south Broward — a hand with washing and dressing, safe movement between rooms, food cooked where it will be eaten, enough upkeep to keep a house working, and company worth having.
There is no premises to attend and no nursing here. Anything that turns out to be clinical gets named as clinical and the household is pointed at the right sort of provider, which costs us the work and is still the right answer.
The reason prices sit on this site at all is a habit the industry has that we think is indefensible: refusing to quote until somebody has been to the house. The rate does not depend on the house. It depends on the hour. Saying so up front costs nothing and saves families a fortnight of chasing.
How the work is run
Quoted before the assessment
All three figures come out during the first conversation. An assessment decides what fills the plan; it has no effect on the price of an hour, so there is nothing worth holding back.
Licensed, and supervised in person
An AHCA licence stands behind the work, and the practical consequence is a named supervisor over every aide. That person comes out, watches the job being done and goes through the visit records, rather than running a rota from a distance.
Reducible without ceremony
A reduction is one telephone call and applies from the following week. Nothing is reassessed and nothing is signed. The same route works in reverse when things deteriorate.
Honest about the edges
A good deal of what comes in on the telephone is not this service: it is nursing, a tradesman, or a conversation that belongs with a doctor. Saying so costs us work and saves a household four wasted weeks.
